Our Team

Dr. Burke was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She graduated from Palo Verde High School and attended the University of Nevada, Reno, receiving an Honors degree in Biochemistry. Her Doctorate of Optometry was conferred at the Southern California College of Optometry where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received multiple awards for her skills and passion for pediatric eye care and vision therapy while serving as her class president. Dr. Burke enjoys full scope primary eye care including pediatrics, ocular disease, and contact lenses. In 2015 she was named the “Young Optometrist of the Year” by the Nevada Optometric Association. In 2015 she founded the practice  which is now known as Eyediology Vision Care. She also volunteers her time as a board member for the Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation.  She has loved becoming a practice owner and takes pride in the warm and inviting energy and new technology available in her practice. 

In her free time, Dr. Burke enjoys cheering on the Vegas Golden Knights, Peleton fitness, trying out new local restaurants and spending time with her husband and two young sons.

A native Las Vegan, Dr. Rory Murphy takes pride in serving his local community with the highest level of eyecare in a fun and relaxed environment. Dr. Murphy graduated from Bonanza High School, and earned his B.S. degree from the University of Nevada, Reno (with distinction) before achieving his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University in Oregon (with honors).

Dr. Murphy has experience in an array of comprehensive eye care services, with extensive contact lens experience (including with keratoconus and irregular corneas) and has a particular interest in dry eye disease.  Needing vision correction after failing his driver’s test at sixteen has provided Dr. Murphy empathy and understanding to both those who need and have vision correction.  He believes nutrition is an important preventative measure for maintaining healthy vision and also prides himself on keeping up with the latest technology and treatment options as a dedicated lifelong learner. Dr. Murphy joined Eyediology in 2017 and became a partner in 2021.  He adds valuable patient care skill and customer service we strive to provide to our community.

Outside the office Dr. Murphy enjoys being physically active, including running, cycling, yoga, hiking, and most of all spending time with his daughter.

Dr. Wang was born and raised in Northern California and relocated to Las Vegas in 2022. She graduated from Vintage High School in Napa, CA, received her B.S. degree with honors from the University of California, Merced, then went on to complete her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry. Throughout her career she has gained valuable experience working in multiple settings, including private practice, nursing homes and hospitals, and enjoys learning about the latest developments in optometry to apply in practice. Dr. Wang has a particular interest in pediatrics, ocular disease and contact lenses and is dedicated to providing a personalized comprehensive eye care experience for her patients.
 
When Dr. Wang is not in the office, she enjoys watching football (Go Rams!), traveling to visit family and spending time with her husband, daughter and son.
