To our valued patients,
In an effort to do everything we can protect our patients, employees and community I have made the decision to close our office except for emergent eye conditions starting Wednesday, March 18th. Although our office has exemplary sanitation procedures and no suspicion of infection within our team, I believe it is time for us to set an example, to do our part to “flatten the curve” and do our best to limit exposure to COVID-19 for our community. It has been shown that staying home can save lives and I encourage each of you to do your best to practice social distancing. It is our intent to reopen the office on April 20th but we will be re-evaluating this on a weekly basis.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17th, we will be open to dispense eyewear orders but will be rescheduling all routine eye examinations for next month.
For contact lens patients who wish to order more contact lenses, you can do so on our website or text our office at 702-912-4254 and we can have them shipped to your home. If you have eyewear orders to pick up from the office we ask that you do your best to pick them up by 530pm on Tuesday, March 17th.
We will be monitoring our email and text line during our closure to help our patients in any way that we can. Please feel free to contact us to reschedule your annual appointment or to schedule your next check up for the future. We will be extending our clinic hours when we reopen to ensure our patients can be cared for as soon as possible. If you do have an ocular emergency, please contact us immediately and we will accommodate you accordingly. Our doctors will make themselves available for telemedicine calls on a case by case basis. If we can solve your problem over the phone, we will. If the matter turns out to be more urgent, and unrelated to the COVID -19 we will arrange for a special visit to the office.
I wish you all good health and to stay vigilant and safe during this unprecedented time. We will get through this together.
